Re-recording Mixer, Sound Designer
John has over 30 years of experience working with sound – initially theatrical sound design while earning a BA in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music, then editing and mixing for film and television at Sync Sound in NYC, and cartoon work for MTV (Beavis & Butt-head, Daria, Celebrity Deathmatch), 4Kids (TMNT and Viva Piñata), and Scholastic (Clifford’s Puppy Days). Other work has included documentaries (American Standoff, Harry Belafonte – Sing Your Song!, and ABC’s The Century), reality TV (Departure’s Flip This House) and TLC’s What Not to Wear), and animated features (sound design & mix of 3 Bahadur for Oscar-winning Pakistani director, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy). John has been editing music for The Metropolitan Opera since 1992, and supervising ADR, most recently for F/X (The Americans).
